Not create webp files

    Hello,

    Is it possible to disallow the creation of webp image files in image compression?
    It increases the total size of the media folder significantly.

    We will consider to add this feature in future. But before that we prolly will give an option to remove original files. With it, I think the size will be reduced a lot, you may not need to disallow webp as they are not that big. Your media folder increased significantly due to the original image optimization not webp I believe.

    Maybe the best option would be to give both options, because a lot of people (like me maybe) are a bit worried about only keeping the webp files due to compatibility issues and due to the fact that i can’t set the compression ratio.

    As temporarily solution you can manually remove .webp files
