Not compatible with WPMU

What are you doing with it? What other plugins do you have installed? One plugin that I know wrecks havoc with server resources if it’s active on the tags blog is the Broken Link Checker.

People are using this plugin in shared hosting environments which would have far less resources than your server.

I believe we are using it as intended – pulling post from the 32 sub-domains onto the main sites index page. Everything appears to work fine – it’s just that the server is seeing lots of load and Rackspace is pointing me at 3 plugins that claim NOT to me compatible with WPMU 3.5.1

Shutting off all the plugins still showed a PHP load of 57% – as configured here we’re running at about 87-89%

I just updated the compatibility on the plugin page if that’s what you are using to make the claim

NOT to me compatible with WPMU 3.5.1

Nothing has changed in WordPress since 3.1.5 that has required making any changes to the plugin. I had gone through and update the compatibility on most of my plugins and missed SWT.

Just to clarify, you removed those plugins (except SWT) from all of your sites and you still had 57% CPU load? SWT does almost nothing on a running network except when someone is saving a post. If you are running at 57% with everything turned off then I’d suggest looking at your error logs and see if there are repeat errors that occur fairly frequently.

Thanks Ron – seems petty I know – but now I can eliminate SWT as a potential problem and get RackSpace to help find the real problem.
