• A few days ago I purchased the full Pro package, including theme, from Ultimate Member. I’m now asking for a refund. The documentation is poor, with very little documentation for pretty straightforward questions/problems. For the $300 you pay for the package, the support desk is only open M-F, business hours, and only respond to support tickets by email, no chat option. It takes a long time to get a response, and the response is incomplete. I’ve had significantly more assistance from the WP Happiness Engineers in trying to make this plugin work on my site. After spending much of yesterday chatting on and off with folks at WP I learned that this plugin has several conflicts with the WP system, making it unlikely that it will work smoothly to do what it’s designed to do.

  • I am having similar issues with getting my UM pages to redirect correctly. What specific conflicts did the WP people mention? I’m wondering if I should scrap UM for login and go to something else.

They didn’t say what the conflicts are, so I’m not sure. I’m trying to create an online community for psychotherapists. The WP person is going to do some research to see what plugin might work best for my purposes and get back to me. I LOVE the WP Happiness Engineers! They have me spoiled for any other support team. I can let you know what they come up with. BTW, I’m a social worker, not a programmer or developer, so I don’t really know what I’m doing. ??
