• In Version 6.3 this plugin causes a cascade of JS errors that can be seen in the browser console, rendering the Post editor inoperable.

    Hi @jason-lau,

The plugin is compatible with WordPress version 6.3 and the new post editor. I am using this plugin in multiple WordPress 6.3 websites of different clients. You can test the compatibility by using a vanilla WordPress version 6.3 with this plugin and it works properly. Maybe any other plugin or the theme is conflicting with this plugin. You can try disabling the other plugins and pinpoint the problem.

When I enable the “Remove version from script (JS files)” option I get the error, the post editor page is blank and cannot be used normally.:

This feature is only for JavaScript modules shipped with WordPress core. Please do not use it in plugins and themes as the unstable APIs will be removed without a warning. If you ignore this error and depend on unstable features, your product will inevitably break on one of the next WordPress releases.

    Hi @shuhsien,

The plugin is conflicting with your theme or some other plugin. That does not mean that it is not compatible with WordPress 6.3.

If you check the screenshot that you sent, the error is at patterns.min.js and private-apis.min.js.

As I have mentioned before the plugin is compatible with WordPress version 6.3 and the new post editor. I have hundreds of instances where it is working fine. If you want to test it, I would request you to install a vanilla WordPress version 6.3 with the new post editor and try this plugin.

One of the reasons some other plugins conflict is that they keep some checks in their code for versions and when it doesn’t find it, it breaks. If you cannot change the theme or the other plugins, then you can disable the JS version removal feature and keep using this plugin.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Pankaj
