    Hello,
I decided to give your plugin a try last week, but since then, I discovered that my DB backups, made with UpdraftPlus, took about 12 minutes to complete, against less than 60 seconds before. Is there anything to do on your side?
    Regards,

PS: Deactivating your plugin (i.e. removing/renaming the object-cache.php file), fixed my problem.

    Hey,

Sounds weird that it would have such impact. That said, this plugin runs on sites with UpdraftPlus and haven’t heard complaints yet.

That said, there’s a variety of factors that can influence this, and it’s fairly hard to guess what it could be without more info.

Stuff like, WordPress version, memcached version, memcached settings and could try to figure it out. It’s probably a good idea to ask your host about this first (not sure how you’re hosting your WP site).

    Hello Andrija,

    Thank you for this answer.

I totally agree, there is certainly more to check on my side.
As I don’t have this time (yet), I will mark this as resolved, even if it isn’t.
And if/when I get time to investigate this further, I’ll share with you my discoveries.
At least, it’s good to know other sites using UpdraftPlus work along with your plugin. (That said, it works with mine too, just I noticed that it makes the db backup really slow…)

    Regards,
