I have been using All In One Event Calendar for over 2 years and it’s been fantastic. But, I’ve installed and rebuilt my website using The7 theme, apparently it is not compatible with Time.ly All in one event calendar. When made active, edits or changes to pages/posts won’t process and save, it sits on a blank screen, as well causes other hiccups in the theme (won’t show images in certain features, missing content). Am also using WPBakery, but even when that plugin is turned off, nothing seems to work, unless I de-activate Time.ly.
Other features of The7 quit working. It is the only plugin causing errors (or the theme which is causing them???) any reason why the plugin conflicts with this theme? Developers of The7 state:

“Unfortunately, we have never tested the theme with this plugin. All compatible plugins are listed in the theme description at ThemeForest. Thank you for your understanding. Please consider using The Events Calendar plugin for that, theme is compatible with it. Best regards, Raphael”

  • Hi @bluffspot,

Generally speaking, conflicts with the plugin are inevitable even though our development team makes every effort to use unique variables and function names in the coding. Finding the conflict or fixing the conflict is not usually feasible.

In your case, since it started after a theme update, your theme developer may know how to fix or or workaround it — so I suggest contacting the theme developer about this.
