• It was working fine with WPML, but I can’t afford it. I tested it on localhost. I got polylang as a free option and functions similar to WPML.

Issue: The AMP homepage shows both languages when switched to the default language.
Default Language: https://www.genupdates.com/?amp ( Working but shows both languages )
But when I try to access translated AMP homepage it looks so weird.
Translated Language: https://www.genupdates.com/hi/?amp ( Not Working but shows both languages )
    Waiting for your reply?
    Thanks in advance.

That is my live sites so I have switched to WPML but if you like to work on polylang, then I have created a seprate wordpress installation.
    here is the link: https://in.genupdates.com
3 activated plugins: AMP, AMP for WP and Polylang.
    Theme: Default Twenty Seventeen.
    Thank You.

Hi, I have the same problem with Polylang.

    1) paging doesn’t work e.g. page/2/amp > gives wrong redirect and returns back 404

It is somehow definitely connected to the Polylang redirection.

It would be great if you guys would find out a workaround. For a multingual site it is a must have.

Also the ability to translate the strings from the UI (AMP plugin settings) using the regular WordPress way (to have the controls for AMP in both or more languages).

I would gladly pay 199USD/year for a top notch AMP solution for multingual sites + Woocommerce support.

    Thanks,

    Best,

    Ladislav

    Hi @ladislavsulc,

We have already created Woocommerce extension and we are going to focus on it a lot.
And regarding the Polylang support we have created a ticket about it in our Github(ref). We will work on it and will come up with solution.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

@ahmedkaludi I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

    Hey @jdembowski

I’m so panic’ed after the last conversations warning that I just want to confirm before I proceed with replying to @ladislavsulc @amazingdropout

The user has a premium plugin that is causing compatibility issues, but we don’t have access to it. Can I ask them to send a copy of that plugin to our email address just for the testing purpose?

    Will appreciate the help.

    Regards,
    Ahmed

    No need to panic. ??

Can I ask them to send a copy of that plugin to our email address just for the testing purpose?

Sure. Though I suggest you post a contact URL but plugin authors can post their email if they want. You’ll get more spam if you don’t use a contact form.
