Hello, It seems that this plugin is not compatible with PHP version 8. I have disabled all plugins except for this one and my home page just loads continously. If i revert back to 7.4 it works. I am using the Enfold theme and evereything is up to date

    Hi @warcher88

Gonna need some more information on this.

My local where I do the development of CPTUI is on version 8.1.9 at the moment and I haven’t noticed any issues all in all.

By any chance have you tried disabling CPTUI as well and see if the homepage continues the behavior? Or try out a different theme momentarily to see if it’s possibly an issue from Enfold?

Would be curious to see what you’re seeing, if the link is publicly shareable. I’m also wondering if there’s maybe a javascript error occurring.

    Hey, thanks for your reply.

Thats a good point, i tried using a different theme and it worked, but only because the the theme shortcode i used to show the custom posts was not a part of theose themes. I then switched back to enfold but removed the shortcode and it works. Meaning there is something wrong with the method used to display the custom posts types on the Enfold theme.

Do you know a different and more robust way to show the custom post types based on a particular taxonomy?

i should mention it is a live site, but i keep it on PHP v 7.4 to keep the content showing, so you cant really see the problem first hand

It really depends on what you’re trying to achieve. I’m not quite managing to picture what you’re meaning here, like are you trying to create an archive showing all the posts that have a specific taxonomy term? Cause that should already be available out of box with WordPress.

Hey, Sorry i just realised what it was. Its a problem with Enfold. Specifically with the way it displays posts in grid mode. I can display posts in list mode without an option. I will have to contact them instead.

    thanksanyway for your time

Hopefully you get to a solution you’re needing. Let us know if you need anything else.
