    Hi,
My hosting server just updated to PHP 7.2.
It seems that Yoast SEO is not compatible with PHP 7.2
For example, you can not access the html editor if Yoast SEO i active. It goes blank.
    This is a major issue!

PHP 7.2+ is the recommended PHP version for Yoast SEO as per our plugin requirements here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/plugin-requirements/

The issue you are experiencing is more likely caused by a conflict with another plugin. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:
    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.
If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    Hi,
I double checked this. Yes, the problem with the blank html editor (even the tool bar dissapear) get solved just disabling Yoast SEO.
This started right after upgrading to PHP 7.2.
I checked it with one.com (hosting), who agree that Yoast SEO is causing the problem.

About “The issue you are experiencing is more likely caused by a conflict with another plugin.”.
Disabling the rest of plugins is not solving the problem. But disabling Yoast SEO is. So I guess in case there’s a conflict with other plugins that is Yoast causing the conflict, not the opposite.
    Thank you.

The issue just happened to me with another site.
It’s solved when disabling Yoast SEO.

Please provide the answers to the following:

    1. Have you performed a conflict check? If not, please do so. Did you discover a conflict?
    2. Does the issue occur when using a default theme with only Yoast SEO active?
    3. Does the issue occur with the current version of WordPress?
    4. Does the issue occur with the current version of Yoast SEO?
    5. Is the issue specific to a certain part of your site, like posts, products, categories, etc?

I have the same problem as Miqser. More info here:
    I am using Version 9.3

Hi, all – this is NOT resolved. I came across this thread and upgraded anyway to observe what might happen. Just like @miqser said, the exact same thing happened to my editor.

I did what @devnihil and @amboutwe suggested and followed the instructions for How to Check for Plugin Conflicts.

For the sake of being thorough, these were the following plugins installed on my site:

    • Accelerated Mobile Pages
    • Advanced Custom Fields PRO
    • Better Font Awesome
    • Contact Form DB
    • Contact Form 7
    • Cornerstone
    • Custom Post Type UI
    • GitHub Updater
    • Health Check & Troubleshooting
    • Icegram – Popups, Optins, CTAs & lot more…
    • WPBakery Page Builder
    • PHP Compatibility Checker
    • Redirection
    • Slider Revolution
    • Yoast SEO
    • WP All Export
    • WP Responsive Photo Gallery
    • Smush Pro
    • WP Sync DB
    • WP Sync DB Media Files
    • WPMU DEV Dashboard

    The steps I took were:

    1. Disabled all site plugins
    2. Verified the issue was no longer occurring
    3. Enabled Yoast SEO
    4. Observed that the problem still did not occur
    5. Went through enabling one plugin at a time, then refreshing the “Add New Page” and seeing if the issue of which @miqser occurred
    6. If I saw the toolbar, I kept that plugin enabled and then would enable another. If I enabled a plugin and the toolbar went away, I disabled it and tried again, observing that the toolbar came back. I’d then move on to the next plugin and repeat this process.

In the end, all of the bolded plugins above caused the toolbar to disappear if Yoast is enabled.

I don’t think that this is a circumstance of all these individual plugins having their own separate issues, because the common thread is that they all work (all together even) until Yoast is enabled, meaning that it’s something within there causing the conflict.

Hoping someone can reopen this support ticket and resolve the issue.
