• So if you use w3cache and or cloudflare the reviews only update for the individual website visitors. once the visitor clears his/her cache the rating is set back to 0. No support on their forum or web on how to avoid this.

Also does not leave the schema of a proper rating for google and other search engines to pick up. only available in full version.

Also loads the CSS and JS on pages/posts that dont use wpreview making your site slower and loading unnecessary files..

Also Credit links (back-links) enabled by default…

In other words, unless your paying for it to get the support and proper rating schema implementation.

I have to admit its very pretty looking though. Pretty useless.

  • Hello,

We’re really sorry you had a bad experience with our plugin.

Cache plugins often cause conflict issues with other plugins, especially with plugins relying on frequent user interactions like WP Review. That said, we will look into the issue and see what can be done to improve compatibility with cache.

Regarding the Schema.org data: let me assure you that both the free and the paid versions of the plugin insert the same and correct meta data to be picked up by Google. You can use Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool to test it for yourself: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/
Please note that it is up to Google whether it will show the rich snippets or not – having the correct markup does not guarantee the stars appearing in the result pages.

Thank you for pointing out the issue about CSS/JS assets being loaded on all pages. We will definitely change this, optimizing the plugin and making sure that the files only get downloaded when they are needed.

Backlinks are not enabled by default in the plugin.

Lastly, I’d like to add that free users do get support for all our products. While we answer questions on www.remarpro.com support forums too, our main support channel is our Community Forum: https://community.mythemeshop.com/
You can see that there is a very active Free Plugin Support section, questions being usually answered within a few hours.

Thank you for leaving a review and I hope you will give the plugin another try in the future.
