I’ll add extra checks, but if your shipping method is setting ‘availability’ and not countries then it’s also doing something wrong.

In fact, this isn’t a fix at all. If you have specifically set availability to ‘specific’ ‘including’ or ‘excluding’, ->countries needs to be set. Otherwise those checks don’t do anything anyway.

Even if this worked in 2.0.x, your code is at fault here for setting availability and not the countries array to check against.

If you copy the method to your gateway class file, you know you can customise it right? Thats not woocommerce – thats PHP 101.

Anyhow, I committed something to core – I’ve set countries to an array in the abstract. If you are not using ‘availability’ you should remove this from your plugin.

my setup with woocommerce depends upon this plugin (or one like it, which i have not found) working correctly.
Hoping that an update will permanently resolve this.
