When you open the URL of the plugin here in www.remarpro.com you see:

“This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”

A client didn’t want to install that because of the mesaage.

Oh looks like Ramoous needs to add specific text to a readme.txt file “Tested up to: x.x.x”, I was hoping a review would permit a user such as myself to work with the latest version.

I hate version numbers in readme files, it makes it way to easy for someone to see if a site is running out of date plugins

Many people won’t install the plugin just because of that text. I usually do not install plugins that look untested, for me that is a sign that the dev doesn’t care and probably there are security issues. If there was no changelog, I wouldn’t have installed your plugin as well. Keep that in mind.

    Anyway, good luck!

It’s not about that, you have to update your plugin statement to show compatibility with the latest WP, so that people can have confidence to install it. I can show you tons of people that won’t install anything that is stated as not compatible. It’s just your responsibility to update that in the WP site.
