• This plugin wont work with versio 7.0 of PHP, you have to set it back to 5.6 for this plugin to work, is this gonna change in the future?

  • I can confirm this. The previously configured style works fine, but it cannot create a new / modify a style due to an incompatibility with PHP 7.

Also, it appears the problem was highlighted on the GitHub repository as it appears to originate with the version of the phpsass library being used having a PHP 7 bug: https://github.com/helen/admin-color-schemer/issues/19

I have created a pull request at https://github.com/helen/admin-color-schemer/pull/21 which patches in the latest phpsass library, and I can confirm that this fixes the PHP 7 bug.

Hopefully the plugin gets updated as the steps of implementing this update are limited for the plugin developer. Otherwise, the plugin dev. should state that they want hand off ownership/maintenance to someone else.

Thanks @kzeni I can confirm your fork works! For a front end developer like myself this plugin is AMAZING, clients are so happy to see the admin in their brand colours (when appropriate for usability).

I agree it would be great if there was some update on plugin. Fully understand maintenance of plugins can become a hassle and developer may want to hand off ownership but some communication would be useful! @wordpressdotorg @helen @markjaquith Bueller, anyone? ??

Hi all – sorry for neglecting this for so long. I’ll add this to my list of things to take a look at in the next couple of days. Glad to hear people find good use for it!

Without a doubt. Happy to report it really seems like a simple & straightforward item to address ??

Hi Helen, no apologies needed we are all grateful for any update.
    Thank you
