Not Clear About Free vs Pro Versions

    I would say that if I purchased the pro license I would probably love this plugin but the pro plugin is not downloadable here so I can only review the version available on www.remarpro.com.

    This free version is an absolute mess. The UI is disgustingly ugly and not intuitive at all. They need to remove all this crap that you can’t use and clean this up. If plugins have a freemium model the free version should be a reflection of the quality you can expect from the paid version. What I see in this free version does not make me feel comfortable buying a license. I want all of the features that the paid version has and I might have bought it had this free version been more clean and organized but it is way too busy!

    I honestly think that the developers should rethink this free version. Instead of having all these features that you can’t use, either 1) hide/remove them entirely and make the free version do whatever it does really well or 2) allow users to use all these features with caps or limitations. For example the only reason I installed this was to test this as a solution for SMS notifications via my AWS SNS. I can’t even use this function of the plugin so I have no idea whether or not I should drop money on the paid plugin. What would be nice is if I could have used this feature but was only able to send 5 or 10 SMS per day using a gateway or service so that I am able to see how the plugin works. The cap would be such that I couldn’t use it in production but I would then know the functionality of the plugin enough to make an informed decision. Also why make customers go through the hassle of downloading and reinstalling the plugin. Just allow customers to buy a license that is valid for however long and let them activate the license in the plugin and simply unlock or remove the caps/limitations. No core files have to be messed with. It’s cleaner and easier.

    I still might buy the premium version of this plugin because of the features it provides but I am weary that I might not get my money back if I am not happy with it and want a refund. So I am going to keep looking for a plugin that allows me to actually use the functions I need and if I am not satisfied or can’t find what I need then I’ll come back here and take the risk because using Amazon’s SNS to send SMS texts is important to my project.

    This could be the reason that you found the plugin dense with functionalities.
    We will be releasing our New Dashboard to overcome this problem soon. This is already in place ??

    We do support OTP verification functionality using the AWS plugin and can also schedule a demo of the plugin.
    This way, you can test end to end functionality of the plugin before upgrading. However, providing a downloadable premium plugin for testing purposes might be a little difficult. I hope you understand.
