• Hey,

I have a problem with my wordfence.
I can’t scann nor cache with falcon engine.
I tried the cache debug mode (with this comment in source code) but there was nothing.
I also tried a fersh reinstall by clicking “Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation?”, saving and desactivating the plugin.
Then I checked my database and all the wordfence tables were still there.

    Any idea?
    Cheers

  • Hi,

It sounds like you are having database read/write issues. Can you have your hosting company check your permissions and run a repair on your DB?

I have a dedicated server running on debian.
I installed everything by myself including MySQL / phpmyadmin.
According to phpmyadmin, my database user also have all privileges on wp_wfxxxx tables.
I manually deleted all those wp_wfxxxx tables and reinstalled the plugin but I still have the problem.

    Thanks for the fast support

I still have the problem after the last update.
In the WordfenceDiagnotic, only the cURL support test failed.
    Is is linked?

    Hi,

The curl test shouldn’t have an effect here. I haven’t seen a case where the tables are not removed when the “delete tables and data” option is enabled.

Can you try turning on “Disable config caching” near the bottom of the new Diagnostics page, and see if that helps, so you can change other options? That might have prevented the other option from being read, if the config cache was not working properly.

    I did it.
    Still not caching nor scanning.
Also tried to desactivate the plugin, and once again, the database tables arn’t removed.
