• Nice looking bar with a few problems.
    1) The facebook count doesn’t seem to work. I have over 300 fans but this just displays ‘1’.
    2) If you choose to use a dark color for your bar, there’s no option to change the text color, so if you aren’t good with css/firebug, you are pretty much stuck using a light-colored bar as your only option.
    3) The magnifying glass is a .gif that should be a .png. If you use a dark-colored bar, the poor image quality of this is exposed and looks tacky.
    4) The referral callback to the developer home is required and oddly, sits in the middle of the bar and not positioned well. Again.. looks tacky. If you are good at firebug/css, you can remove this with display:none (you’ll want to change the bar title too).
    5) Needs the option of displaying the close (X) as an option. Some people (myself included) don’t want a guest to be able to close this and once they do, it’s gone for a day. You can change this by going in the .js code but it needs to be an option in the control panel front end.
    6) It broke all my photo uploading on posts. Never had this happen before and not sure why it happened here, but I could no longer upload images to my blog until I deactivated this.

Definitely needs some work in a new version.

  • hi,

Thanks for your valuable comments on the plugin. Here are the answers to your comments

    1. The facebook like button shows the number of likes for the particular url. So if you are on a about-us page it will show the count of the likes for that particular page. So seems like there is some misunderstanding with the like counter.

    2. Yes this is a bit of issue with the plugin right now. We are working on allowing users to choose from different available navigation template which we will pre build in the plugin. Do you have a suggestion as to how to handle this in any other efficient way?

3.The search bar is not designed by the plugin. It uses the default theme design for the search bar. We have made it so because we dont want to have users to have two different styling for the same search bar. So whatever they have designes for the search bar will show up there. So its theme dependent not plugin dependent. May be your theme used the gif instead of png.

    4. For user convenience we have designed it in such a way that if he disable some of the options from backend then all the enabled one will auto adjust themselves to the center of the bar, if you provide sufficent options from the backend then the logo would adjust itself to the top-left of the bar.

    5. This issue has been fixed in the latest version of the plugin, now you can decide from the backend whether you want to show that X button or not.

    6. This issue had already been fixed in the latest release of the plugin.

Again Thanks for letting us know your veiws about the plugin, we would love to hear,if you have anymore suggestions regarding this …..
