    HI,
Great plugin that saves tons of time.
However, I am not sure what I did wrong but I cannot go back as admin and there’s a blank page that says that it is ‘not available’. This locks me out of the admin backend.

    Any idea what causes this?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Thanks for letting me know about this issue.
Maybe it depends on a css issue or a conflict with another plugin.
Can you send me a small screencast with https://www.loom.com/ to help me see the issue in your browser?

    Regards,
    Yiannis

    Hi Yiannis,
A thought has occurred to me. I had changed the default admin login url (from ‘wp-admin’ to a different one) for security reasons. Could this have affected the normal working of the plugin?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Yes, maybe this change affects the plugins.
Which method do you use to change the wp-admin to a different? Via a plugin or via the .htaccess file?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

It’s via a plugin WP Security. I have deactivated the option of renaming the wp-admin to its default name and now the plugin works without the previous error.

What do you suggest to fix this?

    Thanks

    Yiannis,

It’s considered one of the best and most downloaded security plugins:

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Ben,

I have installed the plugin “All In One WP Security & Firewall” on my local installation and it seems that works fine.
Could you please tell me which parameter did you set to rename the wp-admin folder?

    Thanks

    Hi

Yes, it’s under Brute Force –> Rename Login Page.

    Hi Ben,

I’ve enable this option and it works properly on my local wordpress installation.
    Please, see the video: https://www.loom.com/share/133ea40f8a574bdaaae7bd0b1f2663ca

Is there a staging website so I can see this issue live?
Maybe its a combination of plugin parameters which causes the issue.

    Hi Yiannis,

Thank you for taking the time to look at the issue.
It may be a conflict I have with another plugin and I need to do more research on this,

I will let you know when I find the culprit.

    I will mark this resolved.

    Again thanks for your help.
