not autogenerate sku in generation variant

  • HI,
    I have a problem when generating variants within a variable product.
    The settings Enable settings variant is set to true and the separator with -VAR-
    When I go to generate the variants within a product, the COD/SKU is not automatically generated.
    How can I solve it?

    If I remember correctly, the SKU of a variation is generated when the product is saved.

    I have this issue, it doesn’t generate SKU’s for the variations within the variable product, it only creates an SKU in the inventory tab.

    I need to generate an SKU for each variation of that product – I need it to use the inventory tab SKU and just add Incrementing by +1 for each variant in that variable product.

    It seems this plugin only works for simple products and not variable products. Such a shame.

    @dtco6971 @kokodesignwebsite I feel like it used to work with variable products before, but yes, this would really make it a lot easier for us as well, as it is connected to our order system, Shipmondo.

    When an order has been placed on our website, we can see it in Shipmondo with a image, so we 100% correct can see what product it is. But it is only showing the image for simple products and not variables.

    Please let me know, if you find a solution.
