Not Auto Login In?

  • First of all, fantastic plugin!

    I noticed that sometimes when user accounts are created using Social ID’s, they click on it, grant permission to the app and the account gets created, however, the user is not automatically logged in after that.

    They need to click on the social icon once again to login, any ideas how to make it login automatic once the social media window closes?
    Isn’t that how it’s support to work?

    Also sometimes when loggin in it just loads forever, I need to refresh the page and then try login again to make it work.

    Hello. I am experiencing the same problem. https://wodstar.com/login-register/ . This works with no problems when I log in from a laptop. I checked my Facebook developer account and see that I am in good standing and that there shouldn’t be anything wrong with the app.

    It ‘loads’ forever on my iPhone and doesn’t log me in, but when I hit ‘refresh’ it does.

    Let me know what else you need to know.

    I have found the same problem on my website. I am not able to auto login when using facebook, twitter, google+ & instagram app id.
    For facebook login I have got registration mail with username & password reset link but other social login doesn’t register any user & not working auto login functionality.

    Navigate to your Facebook developer dashboard, click “Add Product” in left sidebar and add Facebook Login. Then you would be able to Facebook Login menu in left sidebar. Click it and add following url in Valid OAuth redirect URIs option:
    https://www.dailyhustle.com.au
    And save changes.

    First, make sure Disable user registration via Social Login option is unchecked.
    If you have done it already, some other plugin might be conflicting with social login functionality. Try disabling other plugins one-by-one to see which one is causing this.
