• Don’t get me wrong. Ninja forms aren’t terrible. But the lack of a forum, community and knowledgebase is a real pain.

Recently i wanted to add a maximum number of selections to a checkbox set. 8 days later? I am still nowhere with support. There is a code snippet apparently, with zero instructions and I am now supposed to hire a Ninjaforms affiliated developer to get it done. Im a premium user, $199 licence… and gravity offers its solutions to one and all.

Gravity forms also provides a similar code snippet.. but with actual installation instructions.

They hit it past the infield, but nowhere near out of the park.

We provide code snippets to help developers understand how to modify Ninja Forms to meet their needs. Unfortunately, supporting custom development on top of Ninja Forms further than that isn’t in our scope of support. If you aren’t sure how to use a code example provided for functionality beyond what Ninja Forms offers out of the box, the most sustainable model for you and for our team is to find a developer who can help you implement and sustain that custom development.

I know that this solution was not acceptable for you, and for that I am sorry. As I stated in our support interactions, we did take your feedback and will make adjustments in the future accordingly…we simply don’t have the resources to meet your short term demands for custom development.
