Not approvable until email confirmed

    I’m wondering if it might be possible to not send out an email or allow a user to be approved until they have clicked on the activation email link that WordPress sends. Thinking it might help reducing the spam.

    I’m getting ~2 spam registrations a day and its slightly annoying having to go through and deny them and then delete them.
