Not Amp Compatible

  • Hi there,

    I just switched from Fancy FB comments PRO to this plugin. But I am getting AMP validation errors in my google console. It says there are 14 pages that are getting the same error from this plug in.

    For example: One of the pages is: https://cheapandcheeky.com/update-ugly-oak-cabinets/amp/

    You can see that the FB comment box doesn’t show up here.

    The invalid code from Google is: <amp-facebook-comments layout=”responsive” width=”100%” height=”400″ data-href=”https://cheapandcheeky.com/update-ugly-oak-cabinets/&#8221; data-colorscheme=”light” data-numposts=”” data-order-by=”social”></amp-facebook-comments></div></div>

    Also I often have to reload the page a few times on my non-amp pages to get the comments box to show up now. Is this a bug?

    This plugin is not compatible with AMP at the moment.

    Also I often have to reload the page a few times on my non-amp pages to get the comments box to show up now. Is this a bug?

    I tried loading social comments at your webpage and found it being loaded every time. Which browser are you using?

    Thank you for your reply. I always use chrome, but some of my readers said they can’t find the comment box. Maybe they are viewing it AMP.

    Do you think this can be fixed in a future update?

    Like I mentioned in the previous reply, this plugin is not compatible with AMP at the moment. Will take care of it in upcoming releases.
