Good Day. I hope this day finds you well.

I have a weird problem that occurred previously on this client’s site. Some products do not have descriptions that do not show when previewing from the product page (published or draft) . It does seem to work on the page itself. We are busy testing more products to see if everything works. It is not all products just some of them.

Edit. Not all products work on the shop page. This is frustrating as this is the only site that this happens. We had it on her old website and we rebuilt a new website ( we did not create a staging )and this still happens.

This can happen for many reasons. Often it’s a theme conflict. I do see you are using Astra which is a really good theme. So chances are it could be an app conflicting.

Second I see you are using Elementor on the site. I always advise not to use this on WooCommerce page files. So you’ll wanna see if a Elementor template is assigned to the Single Product Page or PDP.

Thank You. We are still busy on her website. We had to build a custom shop for her as the woocommerce shop page did not have the functions she needed. We used shoplentor. We did this before and she’s the only client that has this problem. What is funny is that we did not create a staging but a completely new website and she has the same problem. I built her other website using Divi which is a lot easier building a shop page with no issues. We disabled all plugins including Elementor and it still had the same issue. This is a weird error. It would not have been a problem if she did not have over 2k products. Guess I just redo the products that give problems and then it works.

Can you send the error over please?

Hey there, @pierre1982! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

As I understand you only have this issue on the website that has customized product/shop pages, is that correct?

The issue does not happen if you remove the customization?

You mentioned you use Shoplentor, have you reached out to their support so they can take a look?

Have you also used custom code on it?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

Hey there ?? We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
