Jetpack is installed in WordPress, and both Jetpack and WordPress are up to date. The legal pages are being tracked by Jetpack, which I can see in the statistics. However, the homepage is not being tracked. Since the website is a one-pager, the homepage data is the most interesting. Have I linked something incorrectly?

Jetpack is currently being used for free, but I don’t want to blindly subscribe to the paid version because I think that won’t change the fact that the homepage isn’t being tracked.

I am from germany, so sorry if my english isnt good or even not understundable. Please let me know if something isnt clear.

Thanks in advance for your support!

    Hi there, @marcdietl,

First off, don’t worry about your English! It’s clear and I understand what you mean ??

I checked your site and the Jetpack connection to inspect the Stats and the missing stats for your homepage, and I found out that Jetpack is having troubel connecting due to a block happening on your server side. We want to fix this first to proceed addressing your main request.

The xmlrpc.php page of you site is returning a 403 Forbidden Error. There are some checks you can make to fix it:

    • make sure our IPs range is in the allow list – your host can help you with it.
    • check for any security/caching plugins you may have enabled, and try temporarily disabling them to see if it fixes the problem.
    • search for any firewall on your server-side that might be blocking the communication with the xmlrpc.php file – your host should be able to help you with that too.

Let me know what you find out, and we’ll take it from there. Speak soon!

    Hello @marcdietl,

Do you have any updates? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Hi @erania-pinnera , i forgot to respond, so sorry.

I have done the steps of your list and also connected to my Host. They tried a lot to help me but didnt find any issue. Then, it hit me like a lightning. I ve seen a video on YouTube how to start developing a WordPress Website and like in the video told, i disabled caching. The YouTuber said, as soon as the Website goes live, i should enable caching again, but that was, what i forgot. I turned it on and since then, also my Homepage gets tracked ??
Additional Info: Refered to the Youtube Video, i activated WP Debug while developing and also forgot to turn that off when the site has been published. I think the issue was the Chacing but now you know exactly what i did haha

Thank you for your support, you helped me a lot!

And thanks to @tamirat22 for reminding me for this Thread.

    Hi again,

That’s great to hear! Thanks for letting us know. Feel free to reach back out if something else comes up or you need any help with using Jetpack

    Best,
