    Hi,

First of all, let me express my happiness that I finally found a replacement for a backup plugin which I’ve been using for years.

Secondly, let me explain my issue. I performed a full backup (files+folders and database), however, in the final backup ZIP file is missing a file which is present in the root directory (beside WP core files) in my website’s storage. It is a custom HTML file which is missing. Are some files skipped on purpose in the backup files?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,

    Stan

    Hi @xstanley,

Thanks for reaching out and we’re really happy to hear that you’ve been satisfied with Total Upkeep thus far!

Total Upkeep will normally backup all core WordPress files and any files associated with the WordPress installation and database. It’s possible your custom html file lives alongside your BoldGrid Backup file in your overall file structure on your server.

You can verify all files that will be included in the backup when you create a new backup. Select Custom Backup under the Files and Folders section and click the Preview option. This option will show you all files included with the backup.

The same can also be done for database tables.

I really hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.
