Not all companies make money

Company’s and Startups are for make money, like WangGuard. We are a startup

WangGuard needs money for work. If a company or startup don’t make money, it has to close. If we don’t make money, we have to close.

And then, what happens?

Do you think that someone is giving us something for free? No. We spend a lot of money every month.

And the latest question, are your hosting free because you are a startup? if it not free, why WangGuard have to be.

I hope it is alright to add a different perspective to this thread. There are non-profits, academic research projects and institutions that are not bringing in any income from their websites. Having a program to address this category would be helpful, since it isn’t exactly personal and it isn’t exactly a company. Thanks for your great work!

Now, there are a “Nonprofit Organization”, so non-profits, academic research projects and institutions can be into that category.

If you are providing a security service and are having problems maintaining reliability then provide a free service for a fixed number of queries, and charge a sensible service fee to support your overheads.

Otherwise your service suffers, and people stop using it, and then you have no potential for income in the future.

Better to earn $100 per year from thousands of subscribers that earn $1,000 from hundreds.

Better still to earn $10 a year from millions.

WangGuard will be free for people that don’t make money, and the cost of WangGuard for people that make money will be around 4€/month, like 40€/year. Maybe less.

I know that we had a very big problem in the last days, but we are working hard for fix all problems.

Since 4 years ago is free for every one and i have not date for start with the premium accounts (paid accounts)
