Not all comments appearing in the post

    Hello all,

    I am having some issue with the comments on my posts. I have checked all settings cleared cookies and cache and tried everything but to no avail.

    So the issue is, say on a post I have 35 comments. When I am logged in to my wordpress, I can see those comments in the admin panel, and even when I go to the post page I can see them all..

    But when I am NOT LOGGED in I do not see all comments. But I do see few.

    Here is one screenshot of a post:

    (P.S. both posts are same, its just in one browser it translated the page to English).

    Does anyone know what is the issue?

  • Can’t tell much of anything from an image. Do you have any caching on your site? Have you cleared it? Does your host utilize server caching?

    Have you tried deactivating any plugins?

    Have you tried switching to another theme to see if it’s specific to your theme?

    1. Yes I have W3TotalCache, I even disabled it, cleared all cache and everything but to no avail.

    2. I am not sure about server caching but do not think so. The thing is some comments get through while some not. And when I am logged in I can see whatever changes I make. For example, in above screenshots. So I see 35 comments when logged in and 23 when I am not. So I “rejected” all those 35 comments, and so I see 0 comments when I am logged in but STILL 23 when I am not logged in (and so does other users).

    3. And as I said when I am logged in then I see all comments, when I log out (even in same browser) I start seeing less comments. So not sure if it can be related to the server?

    4. I haven’t changed the theme, I am afraid about this though that it may break something.

    Really sounds like caching to me – have you also tried another browser?

    Hi there, thank you and actually yes I found the issue. Its infact is caching.

    I did disable W3Total Page cache and even disabled it but it didnt work.

    Now I check under this folder:

    public_html/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/my_site

    I have those posts, when I am deleting those folders then it refreshes it.

    So I guess W3 wasn’t deleting the cache?

    Also so would appreciate if you can tell the solution.

    I have all default settings of W3TotalCache..

    I’m really not familiar with that plugin at all, but I’ve seen it be a bit troublesome for some people – you might want to ask on their forum here:
