Not adding to MC list- list drops in email account

  • Hello

    People are signing up OK on my web site but their email addresses are being deposited in the gmail account used for my wordpress web site instead of transferring into mailchimp. They’re not going into a spam folder in Gmail, just sitting in the in-list.

    I am using ‘double opt in’

    Unfortunately WordPress will not allow me to remove this gmail address without another, active email address being added. I’m having to transfer all email addresses and user names manually into mail chimp. Am I missing something?

    Hi,

    Are you sure you’re using MailChimp for WordPress and not any other plugin? Are you running the lite version of the plugin?

    Also, do you have an URL to your website so I can test your sign-up form?

    Thanks for your reply, unfortunately Mailchimp doesnt like my mailing (food supplement) I’ve had to close my account so issue is superfluous
