• I was so pleased to find your plugin. It is doing exactly what I needed!

I picked a random product for you: https://jackofallspades.ca/product/golf-putt-challenge/

As long as you choose a type of event that does NOT equal Stag & Doe, it will offer you delivery in the checkout. The price should be:

    $2.50 per km
$20 set up fee per game
$20 extra fee if their shipping address is in toronto, ontario, canada

But if I add another product to the cart (lets pick this one: https://jackofallspades.ca/product/regular-roulette-table/ or even just increase the quantity of the first one in the cart), it should be adding an additional $20 set up fee for each game. But it isn’t.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Are you logged in when you try out the calculation? It may be that WooCommerce is using cached data on checkout, and that’s why it won’t update. Just enter the zipcode again, and that should flush the WooCommerce’s cache.

I have tried that yes – both logged in and not logged in. Is it supposed to keep adding the $20 fee for set up each time a product with the shipping class is in the cart? So if 3 products are in the cart that are all from the same shipping class, will it just charge the shipping charge once, or 3 times?

I believe the fee does not increase based on the quantity. However you are able to customize the fee logic if you like. Please see the docs here: https://web-data.online/docs/woocommerce-distance-based-fee/#dbf_developers

dbf_calculated_fee filter would be the one to customize in your case.

Yes I have seen that page you linked to, but when I copied and pasted that snippet, it did not increased based on the quantity. Any other ideas? I would really like to keep your plugin, but without this, I cannot use it.
