Not added to MailChimp with single opt-in

When we deselect the double opt-in button, names are not being added to MailChimp. We’ve tried going back and forth a few times to be sure. The names do get added to the plugin but just aren’t passed along to MailChimp unless we choose double opt-in, which for our purposes isn’t at all preferable.
