Not accepting the YouTube embed code

  • I just installed Random YouTube today for the first time. I’m on the latest WordPress release and the latest Random YouTube release.

    I can’t get the Settings>Random YouTube screen to accept the embed code from YouTube. Maybe I misunderstand, but the embed code is:

    I cut it down to: 10V8SuUNgD0

    But when I “save” it, row disappears and no videos show up.

    you need to use the youtube video ID, don’t take it from the embed code.

    for example, the ID of this video:

    is:
    nMQw29nfzpg

    Thanks for keeping people up to date with the plugin. I just updated the code for the widget part. I guess people had issues with it I tested it and works find with the latest wordpress.
