• So, I’ve installed WP over 15 hours ago, have accessed my cpanel and see all the WP files in there. All looks installed and ready to go to me.

However, when I go to /wp or wp/wp-admin, I get a message saying no data received? Now when I just go to mysitename.com, I get the namecheap parked domain message?

Any ideas how to deal with it? How long does WP installation usually take, done it once before but don’t remember if I had to wait or not!

    Thanks,

    -Is this new domain?
-Have you just changed the DNS?

    If, yes:
Note that it can take anything from 24 – 72 hours for DNS changes to fully propagate. Second, different networks will update at different times during this period. That is, bear in mind that just because one provider has updated their records, it doesn’t mean that another will.

Have you contacted your hosting provider?

There is a good chance your host may have locked down all login attempts due to Brute Force Attempts directed to various webhosts.

The above may explain why you cannot access your WP install. As for your DNS issue, upload an index.html file and see if you can access it at: mysitename.com/index.html
