Not able to use with wordpress 5.5

Hi I just updated to WordPress 5.5.1 and then downloaded and installed your plugin. I translated the “back” to “voltar” (Portuguese) with no problem, but when I finally tested the button, it didn’t work on either page I placed it on. It shows up fine and the rollover works, but when I click on it it nothing happens. All I did was place the shortcode [alg_back_button] in a textbox, is there something else I need to do? I’m not deeply experienced at this. If you want I can send you the link.

No, you don’t need to do anything else, the plugin configuration is very simple, so, yes, please send me the link so I could check what’s going on.

Thanks for your fast response. I disabled the plugin, then re-enabled it and it’s working fine now. Part of the problem was my own stupidity, I configured the links to open in new windows so there was no “back” to go to. Though I think there might have been another issue that was resolved by deactivating and then reactivating the plug-in. Thanks again for your great plugin and fast attention!
