Not able to use the plugin

Since the update to 3.9, I am not able to edit any pages while the plugin is activated. I just get a white screen.
I go to deactivate the plug in, make any necessary updates, and then re-activate the plug in.
But this is not ideal.
Plus for new pages, I cannot insert columns.
Is there an update?
