Not able to use FB mobile app for sharing posts

    Dear team,

    I am using free version of “Ultimate-Social-Media-Icons” and want my website visitors to share my posts directly through their Facebook and Instagram apps installed on their mobile phones.

    I have a post under my Blogs section on my website with social-media-icons at the end of it.

    From a mobile phone when i visit my blog and click on Facebook share icon, its taking me to the mobile browser for logging in to my Facebook account rather than using my Facebook app installed on my mobile phone. Same experience for Instagram.

    However, i am able to use my Twitter app installed on my phone when i click on Tweet option.

    Please suggest, how can i redirect my website visitors to use their mobile phone apps for sharing my posts, rather than getting redirected to their mobile browsers.

    Thank you for reaching out!

    Unfortunately Facebook doesn’t allow this functionality.

    Sharing a post from a website page is always happening on the web.

    I don’t think that’s correct since i see many other websites, where i can share posts and videos directly via my Facebook mobile app.

    As of 2017 there is no official way to achieve this.

    Other websites use a workaround, unofficial solution which is not 100% reliable and secure.
