Not able to upload images as thumbnails

    I am having a problem that just started this morning. Everything was running perfectly the last time I edited my site.

    I tried to upload additional images to a page. WordPress did not offer me the choice to have them as thumbnails. The only options I was given were ‘full size’ and ‘title’. The files were .jpg images. The only difference between the new images and the ones I used previously was they were scanned images, whereas the others were not. Unfortunately, I can’t understand why that would make a difference. Help, please?

    Okay, I feel dumb now. I kept looking through the forums, and it seems that it is a megapixel size image. My new images are about the same in terms of MBs, but I guess the MP rate must be different. I assume this is something I can sort out through the scanner or Photoshop.
