• I recently upgraded my website to WordPress Version 3.3.1. Since doing that I am not able to upload images to pages or posts.

I have researched online and identified that others are having this problem. However, I haven’t found any information as to a remedy.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

-make sure images are not blocked by hotlink protection, contact your webserver.

    – check path in Admin => Settings => Media

    – make sure wp-content/upload folder is writable (try 766, 767, or 777 permission).

Thank you t-p for your response which is very much appreciated.
The suggestions didn’t specifically solve my problem but did lead me to look further for a solution.

Eventually I deactivated all plugins and reactivated only a few. Out of those few plugins I identified one that was blocking the upload of images. There maybe more but I will find that out at a later date.

Again I thank you t-p. This was my first time on the forum and although ‘a little scary’ it was rewarding to have received a response which lead to a result.

The one I identified was AD-Management. There could be others but I didn’t reactivate all as I had spent such a long time resolving the problem. I’ll try the others at a later date.
