@rabbijason – There could be a plugin conflict going on here or at least it should be ruled out. Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins, clearing your browser cache (and site caches if you are using a caching plugin), then reactivating the NextGEN plugin?

If this fixes the problem then it was likely one of the deactivated plugins that was causing an issue. Now, retrace your steps activating each plugin and re-checking to see if the problem returns. If it does then that last activated plugin was probably the one. Keep reactivating and in most cases it is also best to keep checking after each plugin, sometimes there may be more than one plugin on a site that will create an issue. If you do find one (or more) plugins causing this problem we would greatly appreciate your feedback on them so the developers may address them as soon as they can.

Also to note, in rare cases it may be the theme itself that is causing a conflict so while you have just the NextGEN plugin activated you might consider temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress Twenty series themes and see if this corrects the issue as well.

If the problem still persists after all of this we would still want to know, even more so, as we will still want to sort out the issue and may need additional details.

Thanks!

– Cais.

I’m a seasoned WP vet so I removed all plugins and brought them back one at a time already.

When I go to Sort or Exclude Images, there are actually 175 images in that gallery, but it’s saying “No entities to display for this source.” It seems to be trying to load the images though. I don’t think it’s a hosting problem either.

*Just updated your plugin today.

Would rather not have to re-sort this entire gallery.

By the way, this is the URL: https://rabbijason.com/photos/rabbi-jasons-wall-of-fame-sports/

and this is the shortcode:
<img class=”ngg_displayed_gallery mceItem” src=”https://rabbijason.com/nextgen-attach_to_post/preview/id–2772″ alt=”Rabbi Jason’s Wall of Fame – Sports” data-mce-placeholder=”1″ />

Hey @rabbijason . If you originally sorted your images in the Insert Gallery Window when you first inserted the gallery to the page, and then later sorted them again under Gallery > Manage Galleries > [select gallery to edit] > sort only to find out the changes you made in the sorting didn’t show up on the site; that is because when you add a gallery to a page in the Insert Gallery Window the gallery on that page will preserve it’s custom settings. To work around this, remove the gallery entirely from the page >update page > and re-insert it back to the page without touching the ‘sort and exclude’ tab. Now your changes in sorting if only applied under Gallery > Manage Galleries, will update and you won’t have to re-sort or re-insert the gallery ??

Hope this helps!

Also I have the problem with “No entities to display for this sorce”. Have everything up to date. As a theme I use HUEMAN. Have already changed the theme, but it remains the error. Also I have all plugins switched off. Deleting a gallery from the page and reintegrating it again. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. I am now not the WP expert and am glad to get everything here to get started. What I noticed also, before always a preview image of the gallery in the editor was displayed. Now there is always only one frame with the inscription Next Gallery. Likewise, an editor button and a delete button.

One of my pages is here:
https://www.alschim.com/reise-infos/amerika/mexiko/sumidero-canyon-san-cristobal-de-las-casas/

The thumbnails all come from a gallery, which I have put together with the function Exclude Images. This is now not possible and can not be changed.

Maybe there is an idea how to correct that.
