Hi Danbon. Sorry you’re having trouble. Not sure what’s going on. What version of WP are you using so I can test this over here?

    WordPress 3.8 Thanks!

    Hi Matthew,
Thanks for you message to my earlier post ( in the comments, which I will try to remove). I’m still having the same issue, similar to danbon’s. I can’t add a new gig in the future. I’ve tried in Safari and Chrome. Flushed the cache as you suggested. No Luck.
    I’m running a self-hosted WP site. 3.5.2

When I try to load the javascript file itself
    https://www.aramshelton.com/wp-content/plugins/mf-gig-calendar/mf_gig_calendar_admin.js, I’m getting a file not found 404 message.

The interface seems to have changed in the new version. Before there was a calendar dialog and a type-able field. Can I revert to an older version?

Thanks again for all your help.

Not to pile on, but I’m having a similar issue. I can select a date in January or February when creating a new event, but not anytime past that. Those are the only two months (in calendar form) that appear, and there’s no way I can see to go to future months.

Thanks! Everything else about the plugin is PERFECT for my needs with this client!

Sorry about all the troubles guys. I’m going to post an update in a day or two that I’m hoping will address some of the issues.

MattDotCom – I think you’re issue is that some of the packages of my plugin that WP distributed seemed to be missing the left and right arrows that show you where to advance to future or past months. It works, but there is no graphic showing up to tell you where to click! They should be in the top right corner and top left corner of calendar, next to the month names. On one of my installations where the arrows weren’t included I can hover in that spot and a box is highlighted (as if the arrow were there) and the tool tip “Prev” or “Next” shows up. Look for that and click it!

Going to try to resolve all of this in the coming update. Fingers crossed…

Hi, thank you for making such a creative and much needed resource!

In case it helps w/fixing future dates issue and updating this plugin to work in 3.8, Same problem re: being unable to select future dates in WordPress version 3.8.

Instead of missing arrows to move to future months, the version I just downloaded (1/9/14) shows a non-traveling link (does nothing when you click it) to select a date. No arrows, fields nor pop-up calendars to select dates in Chrome or Firefox (PC) after clearing cache (see screenshot if it helps).

It creates events, assigning them all today’s date by default. When I click edit to assign it a future date, the select date buttons are still missing.

    Hi Matthew,

First, thanks for all your work on this plug-in! It looks fantastic.

I just wanted to check in to see if you or anyone has a fix for the calendar date selection? It doesn’t work for me either. ??

Just posted an update. I really hope if fixes these issues for everybody. Please let me know.

Thanks very much for your help Matthew – really appreciate the plugin!

That fix did the trick! Thank you very much, Matthew!

Hi, I have been using your calendaring just fine – until… Last week I changed themes then updated the calendar. WP version and other plugins. I am now having the same above problem of not being able add a new event. Takes the info except the date but does not save it. I did manage to pull up a last year event, change it and post it. Do I need to re-update?

This has been such a great, easy to use calendar… thank-you!

KaLea – has this issue been resolved for you? So many things changed on your install it’s difficult to know where it was coming from.
