Not able to select database…

  • Hi i get the error below….
    “We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the xxxxxx database.”

    been trying various forums to resolve the issue but driving me nuts.

    Have re-installed latest version of WP with no joy.

    Any help gratefully received,
