• I tried using the plugin with S3 Uploads plugin setup (aka images are stored in an S3 bucket) and the watermark applies without any problems.

The main issue occurs when trying to restore the original image. It throws an error and fails (I have confirmed that the Local Backup option is enabled in plugin settings).

Also, another minor issue is that the Preview image (when creating the watermark) also doesn’t work. When checking the browser’s developer tools, I can see multiple 404 errors.

I have confirmed that neither any preview image (or the copy of the original image file) is present locally or in the S3 bucket.

I thought this might be helpful, I checked the PHP error logs and saw the following PHP warning –

PHP Warning: rename(): Cannot rename a file across wrapper types in /home/website/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-watermark/src/classes/Backup/LocalBackupper.php on line 79
