    Hi,
First off, I’d like to say: I find your plugin invaluable!!! And so well updated. Thank you so much.

So far I’ve had not problems with it. Until now. And it’s probably an issue with the plugin I’m using.

I’m using Foxyshop which integrates Foxycart into WordPress. On the product page I’d like to elimiate the sidebar or add specific widgets to it. I’ve tried removing the current widget on that page to no avail.
The Product page gets created by the Foxyshop plugin. So wondering if that’s an issue?

    Thanks!

Yeah, that might be an issue when the page is not listed in the WordPress CMS. Dynamic Widgets doesn’t know the existence of it as it queries the WordPress database for that. It would probably need development of an extra module within DW.

Just wondering: Don’t you see something FoxyShop like in one of the sections at the bottom of DW widget config? It might be FoxyShop is using so called ‘Custom Post Types’. Those are supported by DW.

    Yes I do.
I see Products and Custom Post type Archive Products.
I assumed that they were part of Foxyshop. But configuring them does nothing.
I think I may have to resort to creating my own sidebar in the Foxyshop template files..

Might be the template you’re using. Or the way you’ve set up the widgets in DW. Are you trying to remove or add widgets on a single product page? Cause there is a bug in te latest version that makes rules not te be followed correctly in certain configurations for single post (types).
