Not able to redirect to lost password page when in Admin

    I am not able to redirect to lost password when trying to login into admin, it redirects to a Maintenance page – currently in maintenance mode. I do have the Limit Login plugin. Is that normal? Once I sign in, and put the url to the recover PW page it actually redirects. Thanks.

    Can you disable?the Limit Login plugin temporarily? This will help determine if the plugin is causing the redirection issue. If you’re able to access the lost password page after deactivating the plugin, it’s likely the cause.

    Thanks. Narrowed it down to the SeedProd plugin for Site Down for Maintenance. Once I removed the setting and allowed site to be live, I was able to click on the lost pw. Otherwise it defaults to the 404 page. I guess thats fine. Thx

    We appreciate your patience and the effort you’ve put into troubleshooting the issue. You’ve pinpointed the issue to the SeedProd plugin. This plugin, often used for maintenance mode and coming soon pages, appears to have conflicted with the lost password function on your site.

    When the site was in maintenance mode, the lost password link redirected to a 404 page because SeedProd was blocking access to this page.

    While this is a workaround, it’s not ideal if you need both maintenance mode and lost password functionality. You might want to explore other maintenance mode plugins that won’t interfere, or contact SeedProd’s support for assistance.
