    We are not able to login using the UM Login page. However if we use the wp-admin page login is achieved.

    The error given by the login page is “err=awaiting_admin_review”. All 3 users are approved members (2 administrators and 1 subscriber)

    Any help is really appreciated.

    Deactivate any WP plugin or CDN/Web Hosting caching for the UM pages.
    Maybe your CDN or Web Hosting is using server side caching?

    Thank you for your reply and is much appreciated. However we do not use a caching plugins. We do however use Jetpack and the suggeted setting for Jetpack is switched of (I actually disabled Jetpack but made no difference). Login to the site was working 1 to 2 weeks ago.

    Plugins Installed are
    Appointment Hour Booking, Version 1.4.30 (not activated)
    Classic Editor, Version 1.6.3
    Code Snippets, Version 3.5.0
    Elementor, Version 3.16.4
    Google Listings and Ads, Version 2.5.7
    Jetpack, Version 12.6
    MailPoet, Version 4.28.0
    Pinterest for WooCommerce, Version 1.3.10
    Search & Filter, Version 1.2.16
    Ultimate Member, Version 2.6.11
    Ultimate Member – Block Disposable Email Domains, Version 1.0.0
    WooCommerce, Version 8.1.1
    WooCommerce Payments, Version 6.4.2
    Wordfence Security, Version 7.10.3
    WP Rollback, Version 1.7.3

    I disabled the plugins below but that made no difference:
    Google Listings and Ads, Version 2.5.7
    Jetpack, Version 12.6
    MailPoet, Version 4.28.0
    Pinterest for WooCommerce, Version 1.3.10

    There are no changes to the hosting arrangement as all the other sites on my VPS that use UM are working fine.

    @jviseur

    Try to clear your browser cache also after deactivating Jetpack.

    Yes I can do that but I am not the only one that has the issue (in different locations within the country)

    @jviseur

    An easy solution to force a browser reload is to move
    the Login page to another URL like .../um-login/

    @missveronicatv

    That made no difference. I have also used different browser and all give the same effect.

    @missveronicatv I found the culprit and I am really surprised. The offending plugin is WordFence Security

    @jviseur

    I tried to Login with the “Wordfence Security” plugin active
    and it’s working OK at my site.

    Try to find out which tool in the Plugin is conflicting with UM.

    That is where I am out of my dept and have no idea on how to do that. Suggestion are welcome.

    I have compared the settings with another site both WordFence and UM and settings in both are much the same

    @jviseur

    Enable PHP error logging if the debug will give some more info about this issue.

    Read this guide: “How to enable debug logging”

    https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1751-enable-debug-logging

    You will probably get a PHP log file with notices and errors in this file when you are logging in: .../wp-content/debug.log

    Post the content of this file here in the Forum and we can give you the PHP error explanation. For best formatting use the Forum’s CODE format.

    I have implemented the debug code as instructed in the link but the debug.log file does not appear.

    I think I am going to blow the site away and start again.
