Not Able to link WordPress Site with Google Authorship

Ok, I hate to do this because this forum has been so amazingly helpful for me in the past, but I need help and have no idea who else to ask at this point. I realize that this may be more of a “Google” question instead of a wordpress question, but because they are kind of linked I thought someone here might be able to help me.

So my issue is I can’t get my google authorship to work with my wordpress self-hosted website. I went to the Google Structured Data tool and checked it there and everything seems to be working. When I put in my website link my picture and Google+ info shows up just fine. However, when I try this with a google search only my website link shows up, not any of my google authorship information/no picture. I know it sometimes can take a few days for this to start working, but it’s been almost 2 weeks and nothing. I have been dealing with this issue for months now and am at the end of my rope and just want it working! I tried a million other avenues for connecting with someone who knows Google but have not gotten any responses back.

If anyone has an insight into this issue or any idea of who else I can contact about this I would be forever grateful! Thanks in advance!
