  • The file you found is the CSS file. The ?ver=4.9.7 part is not part of the filename.

    But you shouldn’t edit your theme’s files directly anyway. Any changes you make will be erased if/when your theme receives an update. If you want to add custom CSS, add it to the Additional CSS section of the Customiser (Appearance > Customize, from the back-end).

    From next time i will use this method.

    But for now; i have a code to edit which is not present in custom.css and available on custom.css?ver file.

    How to edit that?

    It’s not possible for them to have different code. They’re the same file. If you see something different in your browser then it’s possible the browser has cached an old version of the file. Try a different browser to confirm, or clear the cache of your browser. In Chrome, pressing Control+Shift+R is usually sufficient.
