Not able to fill up the form (fields locked)

  • I am creating a few sign up forms, but when I publish them with shortcode into articles, I am not able to fill up anything, all fields are locked, I cannot type anything on it. All have been set with “allow users to edit” though.

    How come?

    Ok actually it’s a UI specs, it would be better to tap / click on the field instead of tapping/clicking on the field title – headline. Besides when you make a mistake while you fill the form, the helpbox is overlaying the fields which make the edits and changes a little tricky. Can we improve this experience?

    Can you please clarify what do you mean “creating a few sign up forms, but when I publish them with shortcode into articles”?
    All shortcodes should be put into the pages, not posts.
    Please make sure that you have correctly assigned your Registration page in Ultimat member -> Settings -> Setup.
    This issue may be because of a plugin/theme conflict. Please do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away. This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?
