Not Able to Edit Text Widget in Footer

  • Hello,

    I have recently been having some issues with being able to edit the text widget in the footer within the base Outline Layout. When I click on the cog icon then on the edit widget button, a widget box opens with only the ability to edit the title of the widget wich is “Text” by the pencil icon. There are no other options to cange the content of the widget in the footer.

    I have tried deactivating all plugins aprt from the ones required to edit the widget and it made no difference.

    Please advice.

    Using Helium version 5.4.11, g5_helium-child theme

    Gantry 5 framework version 5.4.23

    WordPress 4.9.5

    All plugins, WordPress and themes are up to date

    Hi,

    I’m sorry about this issue. It’s a known bug: https://github.com/gantry/gantry5/issues/2023 Unfortunately we don’t have ETA when it’s gonna be fixed. For now you can use the Widget Position particle and place the Text Widget in that position, or use Custom HTML particle for you content.
