    I’m using GoDaddy’s managed WordPress.

I have a staging site that I edit, then push the code to my live production site.

    2 questions:

    1. When I add an emoji (????) in the staging site WP editor using both visual and HTML, it renders perfectly when published to my staging site. However once I push the same code to my live production site, the emoji doesn’t render and shows up as question marks ??

    2. I thought I would be able to go into the live production site in WP by clicking on the edit (paint brush) icon at the top – to just update the HTML code for the emoji. Unfortunately I’m only getting a blank white page (no error message) on my live site when trying to pull up the editor.

When I try the same action on my staging site, the WP editor opens and I’m able to make changes/edits.

I spoke with GoDaddy technical support and they told me after refreshing/updating/reinstalling everything on thier end, it’s not a hosting issue but likely the theme not being compatable.

Any suggestions on how to fix the 2 issues?

Since these issues are host related and I’m not able to test with GoDaddy, I will require some further information in order to troubleshoot.

Would you mind submitting a support ticket at https://blockifywp.com/? There is a live chat button at the bottom of every page, or if you register a free account you will be able to use the support form at https://blockifywp.com/support

Marking this one as closed since it was resolved through support and turned out to not to be theme related.

Thanks again for using Blockify and feel free to get in touch if there’s anything else I can help with!
