Our dev team looked at the plugin today and was not able to figure out what is going on.

However, they did say that they were able to track down the issue a bit. Here are their following notes:

    tracked it down to
    $networks = $this->modelsFactory->get('networks')->all();

isn’t returning anything (it should return the whole list of networks)

    line 48 in src/SocialSharing/Projects/Controller.php

it looks like the data they try to populate in the database isn’t getting in there

Please let me know if you can see what is going on. Thanks – this looks like a great plugin and we hope to implement it!

I’m having exactly the same issue. Here’s the XHR’s request response being made on submit:

Tried with 1.5.4 and with the newest update – no luck.

    Hello @joshuab34 and @dragstor!

Thanks a lot for the information. Currently we are working on this problem.
It will be better if you contact us through our?internal support. We will help you to solve the problem.

    Thanks! Wrote to you now.

    Hi,

I just installed this plugin after going through the great reviews only to find myself in middle of nowhere, but after browsing through the support tab finally found that this has been recently reported.

I will keep the plugin installed and active for next 24 hours in the hope that it will be fixed, after that i will have no other option but to look for an alternative as this plugin does not do anything besides getting installed and activated.

My best wishes are with the developers who are working on this issue… Hope to hear from you soon.

    Hello!
Currently we are working on this issue. We will try to solve the problem as soon as possible.
I will inform you about the result.

This was 2 days ago and I’m experiencing the same issue. Disabling and re-activating doesn’t fix the issue, and I have the latest version.

Has there been any progress on this issue that’s making the plugin completely unuseable?

By the way, I wanted to make this aware on here, that I was emailed by Supsystic asking for my WP Admin login details so they can check the problem (and fix it according to them). I didn’t give them this information, as I feel they already know about the problem, and I don’t see how access into WP-admin can resolve it?

@leec87 – they asked me as well about my WP Admin credentials. No way that I would provide it to anyone. No reason for that as well. No response from them after declining to give them user/pass about the reasons for it.

@supsystic – Can you explain what your intended route to fix this problem is please without requiring individual access to users admin areas?

I don’t wish to tell you how to do your job, but you should recreate the error yourself, and then diagnose it, and issue a new update for the plugin that includes the fix.

Are you aware of the reason why no networks are showing when new projects are created?

I had to find another plug…it’s really strange they asked for your site login info…

Social Warfare is a good, paid alternative.
Super Socializer is a good, free alternative.

@joshuab34 Thanks for mentioning the alternative plugins, they both work great…

    Hello!
We have asked the access – in order to clarify the issue more detail and check our fixes. Because we were not able to reproduce this issue on our test servers.

Currently we are testing the fixes of the problem. We will release new version of plugin today or tomorrow, but it is deadline. I will infrom about the update.

@dragstor – Please check our response in internal support. We have sent the package with fixes on your email address.
